About this opportunity
As a member of the cost management team, you will take part in service delivery for data centre construction project located in Sines, Portugal.
This role requires being on-site during the work week. No rotation or fly-in/fly-out arrangement applies.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    - Assist in Cost Managers the preparation of cost plans, cost-in-use studies.
 
    - Participate in order of cost estimates and option studies.
 
    - Take part in tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes
 
    - Assist Cost Managers with the evaluation and reporting of tenders.
 
    - Valuation of completed work and arranging for payments.
 
    - Preparation and settlement of final accounts.
 
    - Administration of construction contracts.
 
    - Preparation of reports to customers.
 
    - Remaining in the remit of your role.
 
 
You will develop knowledge and experience in the following:
    - Quantification of construction works and activities.
 
    - Cost estimating.
 
    - Cost planning.
 
    - Value engineering.
 
    - Procurement.
 
    - Tendering
 
    - Post-contract cost control.
