  • About this opportunity

    Responsible for overseeing quality control processes, the Quality Manager will work collaboratively with the construction team, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure conformance, meeting the highest standards of performance, functionality, and safety.
     
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
    • Positively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships.
    • Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements and business procedures.
    • Collaborating closely with construction, commissioning, procurement and operations stakeholders.
    • Addressing quality issues and ensuring necessary modifications are made to keep to budget, schedule, and scope for improved project delivery.
    • Executing project quality audits and ensuring audit goals are met.
    • Consolidating, analyzing and reporting key audit data regularly to ensure compliance and conformance.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and using disciplined problem-solving techniques to implement and correct/prevent non-conformance.
    • Improving process control through improved process capability and error-proofing.
    • Preparing detailed audit reports summarizing non-conformance and audit outcomes in a clear and accessible manner, as well as reporting on audit results, issues, lessons learned, and recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Analyzing and evaluating quality metrics of construction projects.
    • Providing data-driven insights to support process adherence and conformance. 
    • Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to construction and quality.
    • Continuously improving quality control procedures and protocols for region-wide change management.
    • Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies within the audit and quality control workflow.
    • Providing training and support to stakeholders on quality control processes, specifications, and best practices.
    • Remaining in the remit of your role and when additional responsibilities need to be carried out, conduct this in a fully informed manner with the approval of your line manager.

  • Who we’re looking for:

    Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    • Experience in construction quality management, commissioning expertise, quality control testing, preferably in data center or industrial construction.
    • Proficient in using data analytics and internal reporting tools, such as PowerBI, Compass Cx and other statistical inference tools.
    • Ability to handle and interpret large amounts of information and confidential information.
    • Analytical skills.
    • Ability to integrate with teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Eligible to work in Spain.
    • Professional level of English. Spanish is a plus.
    • National mobility - available to work in various regions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
