We are now recruiting a Risk Manager to join our high performing Project Controls team, supporting major infrastructure and construction projects within a highly regulated environment. This is a key role in shaping risk strategy across a large project portfolio, working closely with project leaders throughout the full lifecycle; from tender and design through to delivery, testing and commissioning.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and developing a team of risk practitioners
- Acting as the custodian for risk identification, assessment and reporting across the portfolio
- Facilitating risk workshops and producing high‑quality outputs
- Owning and maintaining portfolio‑level risk registers
- Running SWOT analysis and Monte Carlo simulations
- Supporting risk treatment and mitigation strategies
- Monitoring and reporting programme and project risks to senior management
- Providing insight to support strategic planning and decision‑making
- Evaluating change control impacts and advising project teams
- Collaborating with Project Managers and stakeholders to provide risk‑based recommendations
- Supporting assurance activities and producing performance packs for senior leadership
- Conducting trend analysis, KPI reporting and milestone tracking
- Applying appropriate techniques for benchmarking, audit and independent analysis
- Coaching and developing the wider project community in risk processes
- Working closely with other project controls functions including planning, earned value and change control
