    We are searching for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our finance team as our business continues to grow. You will be joining us to help enhance our team and bolster our service to the operational business.

    As Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will report into and support our North region Finance Business Partner, providing support and partnering with our UK business. Supporting the North, Midlands, Built Asset Solutions, Energy, Infrastructure and Data Centres.

    You will also support the delivery of several key projects including a standard suite of monthly reporting and new finance system implementation.

    As Assistant Finance Business Partner you will have the following responsibilities:

    • Ownership of monthly management information reporting and variance analysis.
    • Acting as trusted adviser to senior management and their teams, building strong partnerships, including time on site / in office.
    • Challenging and holding the business to account.
    • Providing real time analysis and delivering insight that links financial reporting to business performance, being a radar across the business to identify and attend to issues as they arise.
    • Using data analytics to enable effective debate and robust decision making.
    • Supporting regions to deliver change, ensuring operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
    • Owning accounting approaches and standards - the business do not decide.
    • Commercial bid support.
    • Audit support.

    Qualifications

    • Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA) management accountant.
