    We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Bid Coordinator to join our Midlands team (Nottingham and Birmingham) to play a key role in securing exciting new opportunities across the region.

    As Senior Bid Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering high-quality bid submissions which support targeted business growth. Under the coordination of the Global Pursuits team, you will work closely with technical teams, business leaders and other bid professionals, helping shape winning strategies, develop compelling bid content and ensure every submission is compliant, and delivered to the highest quality.

  • Who we’re looking for:

    Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    You will be a confident bid professional with strong project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver successful submissions in a fast-paced environment.
     
    Responsibilities
    You will lead and support a variety of bid activities, including:
      • Managing the coordination, planning and delivery of bid submissions from inception through to submission.
      • Timely co-ordination, planning, management, writing and completion of allocated sections of bid submissions.
      • Taking ownership of allocated bids and ensuring all deadlines, requirements and quality standards are met.
      • Reviewing tender documentation and assessing compliance against client requirements.
      • Editing, proofreading and enhancing bid responses to create compelling, client-focused submissions.
      • Supporting technical teams in developing clear win themes, messaging and bid strategies.
      • Facilitating bid planning sessions and storyboarding workshops.
      • Producing structured answer plans and templates for technical contributors.
      • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to secure high-quality content and timely input.
      • Identifying opportunities to improve bid processes, tools and resources.
      • Maintaining bid libraries, trackers, reporting systems and standard company information.
      • Supporting the implementation of new bid systems, technologies and best practice initiatives.
      • Travelling to offices across the UK when required to support submissions and stakeholder engagement.
      • Work alongside other regional leads from across the UK, sharing best practice and regional knowledge.
      • Support regional business development process with presentational material.
    Experience
    • A minimum of three years' experience in a bid or proposal role.
    • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering competitive tender submissions.
    • Experience supporting or leading complex bids with multiple stakeholders and contributors.
    • An understanding of professional services, construction, property or the built environment sector would be advantageous.
    • A track record of producing bespoke, creative, high-quality client documentation.

    Skills & knowledge

    • Strong project management and organisational skills.
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English (mandatory).
    • Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills to create, review and edit, ensuring consistent standard in line with company branding and style.
    • Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading abilities.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
    • Strong Adobe InDesign experience.
    • Work on own initiative, and to an exceedingly high quality.
    • Ability to develop compelling bid narratives and persuasive client-focused content.
    • Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines, in high pressure situations.
    • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative approach.

    Qualifications

      • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable).
      • APMP Foundation, Practitioner or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
