Junior Cost Manager - MEP

• Assist in performing quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities by studying drawings and specification sheets.
• Assist in preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and producing cost plans.
• Assist in valuating construction works and preparing interim and final payment recommendations.
• Assist in valuing changes and variations.
• Support in ensuring that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and properly maintained.
• Assist in delivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customers’ requirements and comply with business procedures.
• Assist in assembling contract documentation.
• Support the team in advising on and implementing procurement strategies, risk management, and cost-saving measures.
• Assist in producing and presenting reports to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in different aspects of quantity surveying and construction methods and materials.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques.
• Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
• Be able to work as part of team.
