The project is at an early concept and initial design stage, with delivery governed by stage-gate approvals and funding decisions; while spray-dryer facilities are a key component, the role will support the wider programme and coordinate stakeholders and delivery teams across China, the US and other regions.

Your day to day could involve:

• Lead end-to-end delivery from design through to handover and operational readiness
• Drive project governance, reporting and stakeholder alignment
• Manage schedule, cost, risk and change control across the programme
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical, design and delivery resources
• Engage senior stakeholders including project sponsors and steering committees
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and regulatory requirements
• Support stage-gate approvals and alignment to business case requirements

Who we're looking for:

• An experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering high-value pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical capital projects, ideally in GMP environments. Candidates with strong experience in other complex, regulated sectors will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of US architectural and engineering resources, state and federal regulations, permitting pathways and modular facility delivery across multiple states
• Proven project controls and stakeholder management skills, including schedule, budget, risk and change management
• Extensive US project experience is essential. Experience delivering projects in China, coordinating China-US programmes and working within the Chinese regulatory and delivery environment is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of US pharmaceutical regulations and project delivery practices
• Experience leading cross-functional and international teams
• Excellent English communication skills. Chinese language capability is strongly preferred to support local stakeholder engagement
• The ability to operate effectively within a China-based delivery environment
• Candidates with experience across both US and Chinese project environments is preferred
