The project is at an early concept and initial design stage, with delivery governed by stage-gate approvals and funding decisions; while spray-dryer facilities are a key component, the role will support the wider programme and coordinate stakeholders and delivery teams across China, the US and other regions.

Your day to day could involve:

• Lead end-to-end delivery from design through to handover and operational readiness
• Drive project governance, reporting and stakeholder alignment
• Manage schedule, cost, risk and change control across the programme
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical, design and delivery resources
• Engage senior stakeholders including project sponsors and steering committees
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and regulatory requirements
• Support stage-gate approvals and alignment to business case requirements

Who we're looking for:

• An experienced construction design manager with a proven track record of delivering high-value projects
• Strong knowledge of US architectural and engineering resources, including state and federal regulations, permitting pathways and the delivery of modular facilities across multiple states
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Significant experience delivering projects in the US is essential; experience in China is desirable
• Experience working as a senior project manager on complex, high-value programmes
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is preferred, although relevant experience from other sectors will also be considered
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• The ability to work effectively across China and US delivery teams within a single programme
• Working knowledge of US pharmaceutical regulations and the project delivery environment
• Strong project controls capability, including schedule, budget, risk and change management
• Chinese language capability is strongly preferred to support local stakeholder engagement
• The ability to operate effectively within a China-based delivery environment
